Crown of Thorns

Purple is the colour for lent. The ribbons are intertwined into a crown with the knots representing the barbs from the thorns. Interwoven strands of silver remind us of the 40 pieces of silver.

This pair of Easter hangings was inspired by the relief doors at Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Hallelujah and alleluia are used in all languages.
